I am an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Health Policy, Management & Leadership at West Virginia University (WVU). With experience in both academic and applied environments, my work focuses on improving health programs, policies and systems, with an emphasis on using implementation science methods to promote the uptake of evidence-based practices. As a mixed methodologist, I utilize a range of qualitative methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups), often in conjunction with quantitative approaches (e.g., surveys), and seek to advance the use of mixed methods within health policy and systems contexts.
Prior to joining WVU, I was on faculty at Towson University and held research faculty positions at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Additionally, I served as a health researcher at the RAND Corporation and have consulted for numerous health and health care organizations.
